  • 3 cups Lukewarm Water, Divided
  • ½ ounces, weight Unflavored Powdered Gelatin
  • 3 cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 1 package (14 Oz. Size) Pie Dough

Preparation

To prepare the gelatin, pour 2 cups water in a medium saucepan on medium high heat. Place remaining 1 cup lukewarm water in a bowl and add gelatin. Let stand for 1 minute. When water in saucepan becomes hot, pour gelatin and water mixture in the saucepan and stir for 5 minutes.

After gelatin has dissolved, add heavy cream, vanilla and sugar. Stir for 3 minutes. When all ingredients are mixed and heated, pour into a bowl. Refrigerate for about 3 hours or until the mixture has set.

While gelatin is in the refrigerator, preheat oven to 375ºF. Divide pie dough into small tins. Bake for 10 minutes.

When panna cotta is set, pour into pie crusts. Top with fresh berries and powdered sugar.
