Akki Roti Recipe


This is a traditional and well-known rice flour roti recipe from South Indian or Karnataka cuisine.

Ingredients
- 2 cups rice flour
- 1 Onion
- 1 Carrot
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1 Green chilly
- 1 tsp Cumin
- as required coriander leaves
- according to taste Salt
- as required Oil
Instructions
- Put rice flour in a mixing bowl. Mix in all of the ingredients. Also, soft dough should be kneaded.
- Apply oil to butter paper (I used foil paper). Break the dough apart and roll it out on the paper to make a large ball. Make a hole in the center.
- Pour some oil onto the tawa. Add the roti and roast it on both sides. Serve the akki roti while it's still hot.
