A quick, easy recipe for any day of the week doughnuts.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Cake Flour
- ¾ cups White Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- ¼ teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
- ¾ cups Buttermilk
- 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a 12-count muffin pan with non stick cooking spray.
In a mixing bowl, sift together cake flour, sugar, baking powder and nutmeg. Add buttermilk, eggs and butter. Mix until combined. Fill cups about 2/3 full.
Bake in the preheated oven for 7-9 minutes or until donuts spring back when touched.
Makes 12-18 doughnuts.
