Description
This is one of my favourite recipes, and it smells amazing when it’s cooking! This granola is also far healthier than the store-bought ones, which I often find are loaded with refined wheat and sugar. A chocolatey nutty hit without the guilt!
Ingredients
- 45 grams Hazelnuts
- 75 grams Buckwheat Groats Or Flakes
- 75 grams Oats
- 20 grams Cacao Powder
- ⅓ teaspoons Pure Ground Vanilla Pod Powder
- 10 grams Maca Powder (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- ⅔ Tablespoons Maple Syrup
Preparation
Preheat oven to 150ºC (300ºF).
Bash hazelnuts with a rolling pin (or keep them whole if you prefer). Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl, stir, then pour in the oil and maple syrup. Mix well.
Spread out on a large lined baking tray, in a single layer if possible—it’ll be crunchier if it isn’t all piled on top of itself. Bake for around 20 minutes, then leave to cool and store in an airtight container.
