Cheek Puckering, Thirst Quenching Fresh Lemonade
Ingredients
- 1-¾ cup Sugar (fine)
- 8 cups Water
- 1-½ cup Lemon Juice With Pulp (8 Lemons)
Preparation
In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water.
Bring to a boil, stir to dissolve sugar.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
Cover saucepan and refrigerate until chilled.
Squeeze lemons (Juice & Pulp) in a large pitcher.
Remove seeds.
Stir together lemon juice, chilled syrup and the remaining 7 cups of water.
Serve over crushed ice…sit back and Relax!
**if you’re real Cheeky you can add a splash of chilled vodka
Tips for juicing lemons:
-microwave the entire lemon for a couple seconds
or
-roll lemon on hard surface before cutting/squeezing
