A delicious breakfast treat.
Ingredients
- ½ cups All-purpose Flour
- ½ cups Whole Wheat Flour
- ¼ cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Medium Ripe Avocado, Mashed
- ⅓ cups Cinnamon Baking Chips Or Chocolate Chips (optional)
Preparation
In a large bowl mix together flours, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the center and add in milk, egg and avocado. Stir together until smooth. Fold in cinnamon chips or chocolate chips (optional).
Preheat a large greased skillet over medium heat. Pour in desired amount of batter and swirl to make round. Flip pancakes when pin-sized bubbles begin to form.
Use a cookie cutter if desired to shape pancakes.
