Cooked ham meatballs recipe

The cooked ham meatballs are a unique second course (or, why not, an appetizer) that will please both young and old. This recipe can also be used as a recycling idea: an interesting way to consume ham that you may have bought for a couple of days but no longer want to eat raw.

  • 200 gr of cooked ham
  • 50 gr of breadcrumbs
  • 40 gr of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • sale
  • pepe
  • for frying
  • 1 egg
  • bread crumbs
  • seed oil

  1. Cut the ham into pieces before blending it with a mixer.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, ham, Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Slowly add the breadcrumbs, one at a time, until you have a homogeneous, compact, but soft mixture.
  3. Make meatballs the size of a walnut with slightly moistened hands, then roll them in the lightly beaten egg and then in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Cook your croquettes in a nonstick pan with a little oil over medium heat, turning them frequently to brown evenly.
  5. When the cooked ham meatballs are done, drain them on paper towels and serve immediately.
