Description
A cheese danish that is fabulously easy and just plain scrumptious.
Ingredients
- 2 packages (8 Oz. Size) Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
- 2 packages (8 Oz. Size) Packages Cream Cheese, Diced
- ¾ cups White Sugar
- 1-½ teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 teaspoons Sour Cream
- 1 cup Powder Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Butter, Softened
Preparation
For the danish:
Preheat oven to 350ºF and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Line the bottom of the baking dish with 1 can of crescent rolls. Pinch all seams together to seal. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, white sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract and sour cream. Spread filling on top of rolls. Place the second can of rolls on top of the filling.
Bake for 30 minutes.
For the icing:
In a small bowl, stir together confectioners’ sugar, milk and butter. Drizzle on cooled danish.
