Creamy soup base


Use this basic recipe to make a variety of creams and creamy soups. Simply top with your favorite vegetables, cooked chicken, and/or cheese.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 6 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt the butter. Make a paste with the flour. Cook over medium heat until the bouillon cubes have thickened. Season with pepper to taste.
- When combining the cream's other ingredients, add more milk. (The amount will be determined by how thick you want your soup.)
- Steamed broccoli and yellow cheese, as well as baked potato wedges and/or crumbled bacon, can be added.
