Description

Great refreshing drink for those really hot days.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces, weight Frozen Cranberry Juice
  • 16 ounces, weight Frozen Sweetened Strawberries, Slightly Thawed
  • 2 quarts Chilled Ginger Ale

Preparation

Prepare cranberry juice using half the water called for on the can. Stir in partially frozen strawberries. Freeze until really hard.

To serve, set container out to thaw for about 30 minutes.

Break frozen punch up with a metal spoon.

Fill a glass 3/4 of the way full with the slushie mixture.

Pour cold ginger ale over the top. Stir until the correct “slushie” consistency. Really great, and not too sweet!

Also, for an alternative, freeze an entire can of pineapple juice. Thaw slightly, and repeat, pouring ginger ale over the top. Combine the two mixtures for a super treat!
