This granola is packed full of nutrients to start your day off right.
Ingredients
- ½ cups Maple Syrup (Grade A And B Work Well)
- ½ cups Honey
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 3 cups Rolled Oats (Old Fashion)
- 1 cup Roasted Almonds, Roughly Chopped
- 1 cup Pepitas (pumpkin Seeds)
- 1 cup Sunflower Kernels (no Shell), Unsalted
- ½ cups Flax Seed
- ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 300 F. Heat the maple syrup, honey and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat until well-combined. Then remove from heat.
In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour the maple syrup mixture over the oat mixture and stir well.
Spread out the granola on a baking sheet that you’ve lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30-45 minutes, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes. Bake until the granola has dried out but is still slightly moist. Let it cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
