Description

I loved strawberry shakes when I was younger. I still do now but I have to watch my sugar intake because I’m prone to spikes in my blood sugar level if I’m not careful. This drink helps me satisfy my sweet tooth minus the guilt of taking in refined sugar. Kids will love this too because of the strawberry flavor and you’ll be able to sneak in greens without them noticing it.

Ingredients

  • 3 stalks Celery
  • 1 whole Large Carrots, Cleaned
  • 2 whole Apples
  • 4-½ ounces, weight Spinach
  • 9 whole Strawberries, Hulled

Preparation

Chop celery into small quarter inch chunks, if you are using a vertical slow juicer. Peel the carrot (optional, only if its not organic) and chop it from the top down into quarters. Slice apple into quarters and take out the seeds. Add everything into your juicer and process according to manufacturer’s instructions.
