Description

This is homemade cheese dip that doesn’t use processed cheese as its main ingredient. And it’s so delicious, nobody will miss it (I promise).

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 8 ounces, weight Monterey Jack Cheese, Shredded
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk, 12 Oz Can
  • 1 Tablespoon Hot Sauce
  • 1 can Black Beans, Drained And Rinsed (15 Oz. Can)
  • 1 can Rotel Diced Tomatoes And Green Chiles, Drained ( 10 Oz Can)
  • Tortilla Chips For Serving

Preparation

1. In a medium sized saucepan, toss together the shredded cheeses and cornstarch until evenly coated. Stir in the evaporated milk and hot sauce.

2. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring often.

3. Once cheese is melted, add drained black beans and drained Ro-tel. Cook until heated through then remove from heat. Serve with tortilla chips.
