Description
Everytime I make this homemade sausage it is gone within minutes, no fail. I like knowing there are no nitrates, fillers, MSG, chemicals and poor meat selection in my own homemade sausage. Make your own in minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Chicken, Pork, Turkey Or Beef
- 1 Tablespoon Turbinado Sugar Or Real Maple Syrup
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Sage, Sliced Thin (or 1 Teaspoon Dried)
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- ½ teaspoons Black Pepper
- ⅛ teaspoons Dried Marjoram
- ⅛ teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 pinch Ground Clove
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil Or Peanut Oil
Preparation
1. Place the chicken and all spices in a large bowl.
2. Mix well and form into patties.
3. Heat coconut oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Saute the patties for 5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Serve warm and enjoy!
Note: You can also cook it in the pan as a crumbled sausage. To make this Italian style, substitute the sage for Italian seasonings and double the red pepper flakes.
