Description

Ahh…summer. The best time of the year to whip up some salsa.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Medium Tomatoes, Diced
  • 14-½ ounces, weight Canned Petite Diced Tomatoes, Undrained
  • 1 cup White Onion, Diced
  • 1 whole Jalapeno, Diced
  • ½ cups Diced Bell Peppers (green, Red, Or Both)
  • 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1-¼ Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Preparation

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well-combined. Put the bowl into the refrigerator. Let salsa chill for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to combine. Enjoy.

Salsa is a healthy snack that goes great with tortilla chips, tacos/burritos, scrambled eggs or omelets, grilled cheese, mixed with rice, as a topping for burgers, mixed with feta for a bruschetta topping, and more!
