Lamb tajine with plums


A very special dish that should be prepared in a tagine pot or an earthenware pan. Prepare it yourself by following the step-by-step instructions in the video recipe at the bottom of the page

Ingredients
- 500 grams of lamb
- 1 onion
- olive oil to taste
- 1 teaspoon of powdered ginger
- saffron

- 1 clove of garlic
- parsley
- coriander
- 150 ml of water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- The plums:
- 500 gr of pitted plums
- 10 gr of butter
- 120 ml of water
- 2 tablespoons of sugar

- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a pan, brown the onion, then add the chopped lamb and sear it.

- Prunes and lamb tajine Cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Begin preparing the plums 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
- Prunes and lamb tajine In a saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, salt, and water. Add the prunes when the mixture reaches a boil. Stir well, cover with a lid, and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
