Description
Easy and healthy pizza using ricotta cheese and garlic. Serves as a great snack or meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cloves Garlic, Finely Chopped
- ½ cups Ricotta Cheese – You May Use Cottage Cheese Or Queso
- 1 teaspoon Rosemary, Fresh Or Dried
- 1 whole Batch Of Pizza Dough (enough For A Medium-large Pizza), Store Bought Or Your Favorite Recipe
- ¼ cups Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced Or Grated Or Whatever Is Handy
- 2 whole Medium Size Tomatoes, Thinly Sliced
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt As Per Taste
Preparation
Note: If making this for for kids, you may want to omit garlic.
Preheat the oven to 425 F.
In a small bowl, add ricotta cheese, garlic and rosemary. Mix well and set aside.
Roll the pie dough into a slightly thick circular disc or any shape as you like. Put it on a pizza pan.
Now evenly spread the ricotta cheese mixture over the top of it. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the top of that. Add tomato slices and sprinkle olive oil and salt over the top of it.
Bake at 425 F for 10-15 minutes (time will vary based on your oven.) Remove pan from oven and set it on a rack for a couple of minutes. Then slice and serve hot.
