Ingredients
- 750 ml of chicken broth;
- 2 medium potatoes;
- 1 small carrot;
- Vegetable oil - 10 ml;
- 1 egg;
- 4-5 tablespoons of flour;
- A small pinch of salt;
- Any spices and herbs;
- Fresh parsley.
Instructions
- If the chicken broth has been cooked ahead of time, all that is left to do is bring it to a boil and add the remaining ingredients. If there is no broth, the chicken will be dry (or soup set should be washed, cut and cooked until ready).
- After the first boil, drain the water and pour the meat over the new one. Clean the carrots, grate them, and fry them in vegetable oil until golden brown.
- The potatoes are washed and cut into cubes. Bring the broth to a boil, season with salt, and add the roasted carrots; after 5 minutes, begin the potatoes. Dumplings can be cooked while the potatoes are boiled for about 15 minutes. Pour the flour into a large mixing bowl, and in a separate glass, whisk the egg with the salt and herbs. Make a well in the flour and crack an egg into it. Mix the dough and distribute it with a teaspoon in a boiling broth.
- Before each start, we dip a spoon into a glass of cold water to keep the dough from sticking. Cook for another 5-7 minutes with the dumplings before serving with chopped parsley.
