Description
The cupcake itself is really straightforward—just a simple vanilla cupcake. The frosting is pre-made (just buy it from the supermarket) and I also use some white royal icing along with food coloring to get the blue eyes and brown pants.
Ingredients
- FOR THE CUPCAKES:
- 125 grams Butter, Softened
- 125 grams Sugar
- 175 grams Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 2 Eggs, Lightly Beaten
- FOR THE DECORATION:
- 1 container Royal White Icing (About 500 Grams Is Plenty For A Batch)
- 1 package Icing Colors (package Including Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, And Black)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 200 C. Line a 12-count standard size muffin tin with paper liners.
In a mixing bowl using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar.
Sift the flour and baking powder into a small bowl. Alternately add the beaten eggs and sifted flour and baking powder mixture into the creamed mixture until combined.
Place mixture into cupcake liners filling each cup about 2/3 full. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Frost the top with white frosting. Then color additional frosting as desired and shape with a fondant set. Cut out shapes from frosting and place onto cupcake.
