Description
Want to learn how to make your own healthy sugar-free chocolate? This recipe will teach you how. All you need is coconut oil, maple syrup and unsweetened cacao powder.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cups Coconut Oil
- ¼ cups Unsweetened Cacao Powder
- ⅛ cups Plus 1 Teaspoon Maple Syrup
- 1 pinch Salt
Preparation
Melt the coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat. Once melted, whisk the oil with the unsweetened cacao powder, maple syrup and salt in a bowl. Using a whisk will help to avoid any lumps.
Pour the chocolate mix into your preferred size and shape of candy forms. You can also use a regular baking tray. Lick the chocolate off all the spoons and bowls. Place the chocolate in the freezer/fridge to harden for a few hours.
If you’re using a regular baking tray, cut the hardened chocolate into pieces with a sharp knife.
It is necessary to store the chocolate in the freezer/fridge. Otherwise it won’t hold together.
