Description
A twist on the standard deviled egg, with a sweetness that will capture everyone’s attention and have them asking for more.
Ingredients
- 12 Hard Boiled Eggs, Peeled
- ¾ cups Mayonnaise
- ¼ cups Dijon Mustard
- ¼ cups Chopped Gherkin Pickles
- ½ teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- Paprika
- Additional Sweet Gherkin Pickles, Sliced For Decoration
Preparation
Slice each hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise and place the yolk in a food processor. Set the whites aside.
Add the mayonnaise, mustard, chopped gherkins and pepper to the food processor. Puree for several minutes, or until smooth.
Place the mixture into a large Ziploc bag, snip off the tip, and fill each halved egg. Sprinkle with paprika, and top with a gherkin pickle slice for decoration.
Note: Make sure to thoroughly dry off the gherkin pickles with paper towels before chopping or slicing.
