Vegan “Orange Julius” Smoothie

Description

This tart-sweet smoothie has all the Orange Julius flavors you love without any added sugar or artificial ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
  • 2 whole Ripe Bananas, Peeled And Frozen
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Orange Zest
  • ¾ cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • ¾ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 4 cubes Ice, Or More To Taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Agave (optional)

Preparation

Make the orange juice if you haven’t already. You can do this using a fancy juicer, citrus press, or by hand. (Relax, you’ll only need to juice 3 oranges at most.)

Place the frozen bananas, orange zest, orange juice, almond milk, vanilla extract, and ice in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Taste and add agave to sweeten if necessary. Pour into two glasses and garnish with orange slices if you’re feeling fancy.
