This simple vegan hummus is full of flavour and goodness! Made with all natural ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 can (410g Size) Chickpeas, Drained And Rinsed
- 3 Tablespoons Tahini
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 clove (Small) Garlic, Minced
- ½ cups Coconut Milk
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- ½ teaspoons Turmeric
- ⅛ teaspoons Cumin
- ⅛ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
Preparation
Place chickpeas, tahini, olive oil and garlic in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add paprika, turmeric, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper and stir in with a spoon. Pulse the hummus 2 to 3 times until spices are fully mixed in and hummus is creamy and even in colour. Spoon into a small bowl and serve with your choice of sliced vegetables and crackers.
Notes: Add more cayenne pepper if you like extra kick! If you find the hummus is a bit thick, add an extra tablespoon or so of coconut milk until you are happy with the consistency.
