Ingredients
- 12 ounces, weight Fresh Cranberries
- 5 whole Green Onions, Chopped
- ¼ cups Chopped Cilantro, Plus More For Garnish
- 1 whole Jalapeno Pepper, Seeded And Finely Diced
- ¾ cups Sugar, More Or Less To Taste
- ½ teaspoons Cumin
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- 16 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, At Room Temperature
Preparation
Place cranberries in a blender or food processor and pulse to roughly chop. Add remaining ingredients, except cream cheese, and pulse until finely chopped. You don’t want to process the mixture too long as you don’t want to puree it. Refrigerate for 4 hours, up to 24 hours.
Spread cream cheese on a serving plate or pie plate in an even layer. Top with cranberry mixture. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with crackers, pita chips, or tortilla chips.
