Crispy Duck Flautas with Orange Sriracha Mayonnaise

Amazing appetizer with a powerfully savory flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint Oil, For Frying
  • ½ pounds Duck Breast
  • 6 whole 6 Inch Flour Tortillas
  • 6 Tablespoons Orange Sriracha Mayonnaise (See My TK Recipe Box Or Related Blog Post)
  • 1-½ cup Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 1 cup Green Onions, Chopped
  • ½ cups Flour

Preparation

Heat a pot of oil to 350ºF.

Cut the duck breast into thin strips. Fry duck strips for 2 minutes.

Lay out tortillas and spread 1 tablespoon of orange Sriracha mayonnaise on each. Layer each tortilla with equal parts cheese, duck and green onions. Roll each tortilla tightly and then lightly coat evenly with flour.

Fry in small batches for 3–5 minutes each, until crispy and cheese is melted. Remove from fryer, pat dry and cut in half.
