Perfect hot chocolate made from scratch.
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 1-½ Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
- 1-½ cup Milk, Divided
- 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 1 Pinch Salt
- Marshmallows, For Topping
Preparation
In a small saucepan, mix chocolate, cocoa powder, 1/2 cup milk and sugar over low heat. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted. Add the rest of the milk and salt and stir to heat entire mixture completely. Stir in extra sugar, if necessary.
Pour hot chocolate into a mug and top with marshmallows.
