Description

A super easy seafood dip that takes minutes to make. Perfect for your next get-together! You can easily lighten it up with a couple of substitutions and the flavour will still be fantastic!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • ½ cups Mayonnaise
  • ½  Lemon, Juiced, Divided
  • ½ cups Seafood Sauce (I Like The Ones With Horseradish)
  • 1 package (227g Size) Crab Flavoured Alaskan Pollock
  • 1 stalk Celery Finely Chopped
  • 3 stalks Green Onion, Finely Chopped
  • ¼ teaspoons Dried Dill
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper

Preparation

In a food processor, combine cream cheese with mayo and all but 1 tablespoon lemon juice, until smooth, about 1–2 minutes. Spread mixture evenly over a round plate, about 9-10 inches in diameter.

Spread seafood sauce evenly over cream cheese mixture. Top with seafood, then celery, green onion, dill and pepper. Squeeze reserved lemon juice over the dip. Serve with your favourite crackers!

Notes:
1. To lighten this dip, you can use light cream cheese instead of regular and you can also use Greek yogurt instead of mayo.
2. I’ve also used small cooked shrimp (drain off excess water) instead of pollock for this dip.
