Sweet and savory, with dark chocolate and a little added kick. What’s not to love!
Ingredients
- ½ cups Kettle Corn Kernels
- 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
- 1-½ teaspoon Chipotle Chili Powder
- 2 pinches Cayenne Pepper
- 3 ounces, weight Dark Chocolate, Melted
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
Preparation
In a pot with a lid, over medium high heat, add oil. Once hot, add popcorn kernels and cover. When popping begins, shake pot back and forth periodically until popping slows down. Remove from heat and transfer popcorn to a large bowl. Add chipotle chili powder and mix well. Add cayenne and mix again. Set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl, add dark chocolate and melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted. Immediately drizzle chocolate over popcorn and stir well to coat kernels. Sprinkle sea salt and dig in.
