Description
This is my Monday special power-packed smoothie loaded with the goodness of chia seeds, beets, cinnamon and greens. Absolutely delish in taste and can be pre-made and stored for 2 days in the fridge.
Ingredients
- ½ cups Beets, Fresh Or Frozen – If Fresh Then Peel The Beets
- ½ cups Kale, Cleaned And Drained, Optional
- 1 piece (Small 1/2 Inch Slice) Peeled Ginger
- ½ cups Spinach Leaves, Cleaned
- 3 stalks Celery, Cleaned & Chopped
- 1 whole Apple, Cored And Chopped
- ¼ teaspoons Ground Cinnamon (optional)
- 2 teaspoons Chia Seeds, Any Color
- 1 cup Coconut Water – Optional – You Can Use Regular Water
Preparation
In a blender, blend everything together into a fine/smooth consistency. You can use more water if you like a very thin smoothie. Pour into glasses and serve. If you don’t like the smoothie with pulp, you can pour it through a sieve before serving.
