Ingredients

  • ⅔ cups White Rice
  • 4  Eggs
  • FOR THE PATTIES:
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ½ cups Panko Bread Crumbs
  • ½ cups Onion, Minced
  • 1  Egg, Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Oil, For Frying
  • FOR THE GRAVY:
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • 1-½ cup Beef Broth
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Cook the rice according to package instructions.

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients for the patties (except the oil) and make patties, 1 for each serving. Heat the oil in a large skillet and fry the burgers for 4–5 minutes each side until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

In the same skillet, melt butter for the gravy. Add flour and whisk until you get a light-brown paste. Whisk in the broth. Bring to a simmer. Add the Worcestershire sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste, if needed.

Fry the eggs sunny side up. Serve the cooked rice topped with the burger, the fried egg, and the gravy.
