Description
The Jack Rose Cocktail is a classic drink and can even be found in legendary Ernest Hemingway’s novel, The Sun Also Rises. This great drink is comprised of Apple Jack, lemon juice, and grenadine. If you have fresh grenadine, use that or use whatever is in your fridge. This wonderful historical drink is worth a try and a taste. So, raise your glasses, drink with me and Hemingway by sipping on this tasty cocktail!
Ingredients
- 2 ounces, fluid Laird’s Applejack
- 1 ounce, fluid Fresh Lemon Juice
- ½ ounces, fluid Grenadine
- Lemon Peel, To Garnish
Preparation
Fill shaker with ice. Add all liquid ingredients. Vigorously shake for 15 seconds.
Strain into a cooled coupe glass and garnish with lemon peel.
