Description

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Slow Cooker Pot Roast and vegetables. This recipe also makes 4 cups of homemade beef broth!

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds Beef Boneless Chuck Roast
  • 3 cups Water
  • 4  Large Carrots
  • 1  Sweet Potato, Chunks
  • 1  White Onion, Cut Up
  • 1  Bay Leaf
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Seed Ground
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Salt And Pepper

Preparation

Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker or crock pot and cook on high for 5–6 hours or on low for 8 hours. Remove all the broth and transfer to a Mason jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Slice the beef and serve with the vegetates alone or over rice.
