The flavor in this dish is amazing! It is very quick and easy to whip up, so it’s definitely a go-to on busy days. Fancy enough for guests yet fast enough for everyday. The cayenne kick really makes it stand out.

Ingredients

  • 1  Onion, Chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • ½ cups Butter, Divided
  • 2  Chicken Breasts, Sliced
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Dried Marjoram
  • ¼ cups Fresh Basil, Chopped
  • 2 quarts Canned Tomatoes
  • 1 can (7 Oz. Size) Tomato Paste
  • ½ cups Cream
  • 16 ounces, weight Pasta, Cooked
  • Salt, Black Pepper, And Cayenne Pepper, To Taste
  • Parmesan Cheese For Garnish

Preparation

Sauté onions and garlic in half of the butter in a large pan. In a separate pan, add remaining butter and sliced chicken. Season with salt and pepper and cook on both sides. When the onion and garlic are golden, stir in marjoram and basil. Continue to sauté for a few minutes.

Add tomatoes and tomato paste to onion and garlic mixture. Simmer to thicken. When thick, splash in your cream. Add pasta, salt, pepper and cayenne to taste. This is supposed to be a spicy dish but add enough cayenne to taste. Top your pasta with chicken slices and Parmesan cheese as a garnish.
