Valentines day breakfast: Nutella stuffed french toast.
Ingredients
- 2 whole Eggs
- ¼ cups Milk, 2% Or Any Other
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- ½ teaspoons Cinnamon Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Nutella
- 4 slices Bread Such As Challah Or Brioche (3/4-1″ Thick)
- 1 Tablespoon Butter, Unsalted
- 1 Tablespoon Powdered Sugar (for Sprinkling)
Preparation
In a deep large bowl, mix eggs, milk, sugar and cinnamon.Stir with a fork and set aside.
Spread Nutella on half of the bread slices and cover with the remaining slices, sandwiching the Nutella in between. Soak the Nutella-stuffed toast in the egg mix and push it using a knife so it gets coated properly. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes, then flip and coat the other side the same way. Soak the sides as well.
Once ready, cook on a preheated pan with butter for around 5 minutes on each side until nicely browned but not burnt. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve with black coffee.
