Description

Chewy peanut butter cookies filled with chocolate chips and Reese’s pieces candy are a chocolate and peanut butter lovers dream. Chocolate and peanut butter go together so well, so combining those two classic flavors in a chewy cookie are the perfect combination. Cookies are my favorite dessert to make during the holidays because they are so great to give as gifts to family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 2-½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • ¾ cups Granulated Sugar
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces Candy

Preparation

In a medium bowl, whisk flour, salt and baking soda. In another large bowl using either a hand or a stand mixer, beat softened butter with peanut butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.

Add in eggs and vanilla extract, beat until smooth. In three separate additions, add flour mixture, beating after each addition until fully incorporated.

Fold in chocolate chips and Reese’s pieces. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Roll dough into balls and place 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10–12 minutes.
