Description
Chocolate Chunk Cookies, soft on the inside, crispy around the edges.
Ingredients
- ½ cups Butter, Room Temperature
- ½ cups Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- ½ cups Chocolate Chunks
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Cream together butter and sugar for about 5 minutes until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and mix to combine. Add flour, baking soda and salt and mix to combine.
Set aside a few chocolate chunks to press on top of the cookies before they go in the oven, if desired, and then fold the rest into the batter.
Using a 1 ½ tablespoon scoop, place cookies on a lined cookie sheet (I used a silicone mat). Press chocolate chunks into the tops.
Bake cookies for 10–12 minutes, until golden around the edges and cooked through. Let cool for 5 minutes on a wire rack. Serve.
