A Green Smoothie for Beginners

Description

This green smoothie is great for those new to adding greens to smoothies! Using a frozen banana and a spoonful of almond butter makes the spinach nearly undetectable.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 2 cups Loosely Packed Baby Spinach Leaves
  • 1  Small Frozen Banana, Or Half A Large, Cut Into Chunks
  • 1-⅓ cup Almond Milk
  • Sweetener Of Choice (I Usually Use A Pinch Of Stevia, But You Could Also Use Regular Sugar, Agave, Or Even Honey)

Preparation

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Note: Whenever I buy bananas, I let a few get extremely ripe and then put them in the freezer. That way, I always have frozen bananas on hand.
