Description
Salep is a yummy winter drink made from the powder of orchid bulbs.
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Salep Powder
- 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1 quart Milk
- Nuts For Topping
Preparation
Mix salep powder, sugar and milk in a pot until smooth. Cook it over low heat, stirring consistently until it boils.
Divide into cups and serve topped with nuts.
Note: You can taste it before cooking and add extra sugar if you like it sweeter.
