Peanut Butter-Oatmeal No-Bake Breakfast Bars

Description

Here is a no-bake breakfast bar that is simple to make and uses ingredients that I always have on hand. Sometimes I’ll fix these after work for an anticipated late evening snack or something to pack in a picnic lunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Quick Oats
  • ½ cups Smooth Peanut Butter
  • ¼ cups Wheat Germ
  • ½ cups Chopped Raisins
  • ½ cups Chopped Almond Slices
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ½ cups Hot Water

Preparation

In a medium sized bowl, completely combine all ingredients using a fork.

Line an 8”x8” pan with wax paper, allowing the paper to hang over two sides of the pan. Press the mixture down evenly into the pan and refrigerate for ½ an hour.

Remove it from the dish using the paper ‘handles’. Cut into eight 2”x4” slices. Enjoy!
