Cinnamon-Eggnog Frosting

Description

Yummy frosting for a cake or cupcakes. I have used this on sugar cookies as well.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Confectioners Sugar
  • 1-¼ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Fresh Eggnog (not Fat Free Or Light)

Preparation

In a stand mixer using the whisk attachment, add confectioners sugar and cinnamon. Run mixer on low and slowly add eggnog. Increase speed to high and cream together until combined. It should be fluffy and ready to use. If not, refrigerate until ready to frost your baked goods.

I always make this after cupcakes or cookies are cooled, so I can frost immediately and then refrigerate until ready to serve.
