Description

Cherry rum and dark rum combined with mint and lime for a perfect summer cocktail. Oh, and did I mention cherries?

Ingredients

  • FOR THE SIMPLE SYRUP:
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 whole Limes, Zest And Juice, Divided
  • FOR THE MOJITOS:
  • 1 bag (16 Ounce Size) Frozen Pitted Cherries
  • ½ cups Fresh Mint Leaves
  • ½ cups Cherry Flavored Rum
  • ½ cups Dark Rum

Preparation

Zest and juice 4 limes, keeping the zest and the juice separate.

First make a simple syrup by combining the sugar, water and the lime zest in a small saucepan. Heat on medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside.

For the Mojitos: In the bowl of your food processor, process the frozen cherries until finely blended. Add in the fresh mint leaves and the juice of your 4 limes. Process until smooth.

In a pitcher, mix cherry mixture with lime syrup and rums. Pour into glasses over ice and enjoy immediately!
