Description

Refreshing peach green tea to beat the summer heat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • ½ whole Peach, Fresh Or Frozen
  • 2 packages (Single-serving Bag) Green Tea
  • ¼ teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Honey, Or To Taste (Or Use Sugar Or A Sugar Substitute)
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes

Preparation

Heat the small pot with the water over medium heat. As soon as the water starts to boil, reduce heat to its lowest setting.

Add chopped peaches and green tea and simmer on low heat for 2 minutes for a light green tea flavor, or longer for tea stronger flavor.

Add lemon juice and increase the heat to high. Bring to a boil and switch off the heat.

Now add honey while the tea is still hot. Remove the tea bags and pour the tea mixture into a hand blender jar. Blend for 30 seconds till the peaches are all dissolved. (At this point, pour in cups if serving hot.)

Pour the mixture in a jug, add ice cubes and refrigerate for 1 hour and serve chilled.
