Chocolate for breakfast anyone?
Ingredients
- 1 cup Steel Cut Oats
- ¾ cups Brown Sugar
- ½ cups Cocoa Powder
- ¼ cups Strong Coffee
- 3 cups Water
- ½ cups Chopped Walnuts, Divided
- ½ cups Mini Marshmallows For Garnish
Preparation
Spray the inside of your 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick spray (I used Pam).
Combine the oats, brown sugar, cocoa, coffee and water. Set the slow cooker on low. Allow to cook for 5-6 hours on low. When your oatmeal is at the consistency you like, stir in half the nuts.
Garnish with extra nuts and mini marshmallows.
