Description

What every Shamrock Shake wants to be when it grows up. Grasshoppers are boozy, minty, and deliciously creamy. They can be made as a milkshake with ice cream, or as an icy cold cocktail made with a splash of half-and-half.

Ingredients

  • Melted White Chocolate And Colored Sprinkles To “Rim” The Glasses, For Garnish (optional)
  • 1 cup Vanilla Ice Cream (Or 2-3 Tablespoons Half-and-Half)
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Green Creme De Menthe Liqueur
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Creme De Cacao Liqueur
  • 1 Tablespoon Vodka

Preparation

1. Optional first step: dip edges of the cocktail glasses in melted white chocolate, and then roll the rims in colored sprinkles. Allow the chocolate to set before making cocktails.
2. Place ice cream (see note below), liqueurs, and vodka in a blender carafe and blend on medium speed until combined.
3. Pour between 2 cocktail glasses.

Note: If for some reason you don’t want a frozen beverage, the ice cream can be omitted. Simply substitute 2-3 tablespoons half-and-half in place of the ice cream. Put the remaining the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake well and pour into prepared glasses.
