Description

A lightened up and less dense version of the traditional cake. The perfect transition loaf to fall with a seasonal fruit addition!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1-¾ cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 whole Peaches, Peeled And Cut Into Small Squares

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla. Gradually add flour and baking powder. Using a spatula, gently fold in peaches until they are evenly distributed.

Pour into a well-greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Check if loaf is done by sticking a toothpick in the center; if it comes out clean, you’re in business!
