Description
Even those who shy away from salty fish will succumb to the combination of anchovies, jalapenos and sun-dried tomatoes.
Ingredients
- 3 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- ¼ cups Finely Chopped Onion
- 4 whole Jalapenos, Divided
- 1 can (2 Oz. Size) Anchovies In Olive Oil
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Fish Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Favorite Hot Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Parmesan Cheese
- ½ teaspoons Curry Powder
- ¼ teaspoons White And Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Basil
- 1 whole 16 To 18 Inch Pizza Dough
- ½ cups Sun Dried Tomatoes
- 1 pound Mozzarella Cheese
- Basil Or Parsley, For Sprinkling (optional)
Preparation
Saute chopped garlic, onions and 1 jalapeno in oil from anchovies, adding olive oil and butter. Then add fish sauce, spices and basil and bring to a light simmer, adding Sriracha (or your favorite hot sauce) and Parmesan cheese.
Mix well and top pizza dough with sauce then evenly spread out ¾ of the mozzarella cheese. Top cheese with sliced jalapenos, sun dried tomatoes and anchovies broken into thirds, then add rest of cheese. A sprinkling of basil or parsley over top prior to baking adds a nice touch. Bake at 375ºF for 30–35 minutes until golden.
