Description
Delicious fritters filled with apples and cinnamon.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- ¼ cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ¾ cups Milk
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- 2 cups Diced Apples
- Oil, For Frying
- ¼ cups Powdered Sugar
Preparation
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and cinnamon together in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix milk, eggs, butter. Add to dry ingredients, mix lightly. Fold in apples.
Heat oil to 350 to 355ºF. Use a small scooper to scoop out rounds balls and drop into heated oil. Cook 4 to 5 fritters at a time, until fritters are golden brown. Test one to make certain the fritter is cooked through.
Drain on a baking rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
