Homemade Kahlua, so easy and oh so good!
Ingredients
- 8 cups White Sugar
- 8 cups Water
- 4 ounces, weight Folger’s Instant Coffee (only Folger’s)
- 3 whole Vanilla Beans
- ½ gallons Vodka, Any That You Like, The Cheap Works Fine For This
Preparation
Split vanilla beans and scrape out vanilla; set aside. In a large glass jar (I use my sun tea jar), combine all ingredients including vanilla and stir to mix well. Put the lid on and leave on the counter for at least ten (10) days. Then take out the vanilla beans and put the Kahlua in pretty jars. Keep for yourself or give as gifts. Enjoy!
