Melon Bingsu (Korean Dessert) for Your Baby

Description

Treat your baby to a cool Korean dessert perfect on a hot summer day! Super easy to make, and delicious for your little one!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Organic Whole Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons Organic Condensed Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½  Honey Dew Melon
  • 1  Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream, To Serve (optional)
  • Fresh Mint, For Garnish (optional)

Preparation

Mix milk, condensed milk, and vanilla. Pour into a resealable bag. Flatten bag and freeze for at least 3 hours.

While waiting, use a melon baller and scoop out all the honey dew melon. Put the melon skin and melon balls in the fridge until milk mixture is ready.

Take out the milk mixture and use a rolling pin to break up the ice. Transfer into the melon skin. Fill it up and shape it into a mound.

Arrange melon balls on top of the frozen mixture. Add a scoop of ice cream on top and garnish with mint leaves.
