Cilantro Jalapeno Lime Hummus

Description

Gluten-free, vegan, so creamy and you don’t have to run to the store to buy tahini! The best hummus ever!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Chickpeas, Drained And Skins Removed (See Note)
  • 2 Tablespoons Cilantro, Roughly Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Peeled
  • 1 Tablespoon Jalapeno, Roughly Chopped (about 1/2 A Jalapeño)
  • ½ Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Water

Preparation

Place all ingredients, except olive oil and water, in a small food processor and blend until smooth. With machine running, stream in olive oil and water and continue processing until super creamy and smooth.

Spread on all the things.

Note: To remove the skins of chickpeas, drain and rinse them and then pour them onto a kitchen towel. Pick each one up and lightly rub your fingers together and a thin, papery skin will come off. Discard that and repeat with remaining chickpeas.
